Dungeons and Minecrafters

After talking with everyone, there was a lot of interest in doing some questing on our server.  I had tossed around the idea of either building a world offline and then uploading it to our server only when we wanted to play, or downloading a pre made RPG world and doing the same thing with that.  After looking at several premade worlds, they were either no better than I could do myself or they were completely freaking amazing and blew my mind.  I tried a couple of the completely freaking amazing ones and my mind was indeed blown.  The problem was it was blown by how Laggy they were even on one player.  I could not imagine trying to play them on multiplayer so I went back to plan A.  I did change it up however and decided to just run way off into an uninhabited part of our current world to build it.  The first dungeon is now in the works.  I will be adding more to it in the next couple of days and then it will be finished.  There will be PLENTY of hacking and slashing to be done, however there are a couple puzzles and surprises along the way too.  At this point, I would ask that if you find a cave in a mountain that has glowstone all around the entrance along with a pillar of glowstone outside, that you would not go in unless we are questing.  There are also Iron doors once you get inside just in case you somehow miss all the glowstone LOL.  The reason I ask this is that once the quest has begun certain things are triggered automatically and cant be stopped.  I can reset them, but it takes a long time to do.  My friends, I am looking forward to finishing this and beginning our first quest.  This first quest will be named "The Sanctuary".  Why? because I am Preach, that's why!

Hey Welcome to the official blog of the MinMine Server!!! Several new things have happened recently (for instance people are playing again) and I thought we should have a place to Chat about new things and ideas and such.  So here it is!!!!!!!!!

First things first: We are 100% paid for the next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Woo FREAKING Hoo!!!!!!
I know this seems like a small thing, but it is HUGE for me to have that out of the way!

I will be posting all of the Add-Ons that we currently have along with the instructions for using them in the very near future.  See you soon!
